MOA and several foreign embassies to China held a gift-book exchanging ceremony in Beijing on April 14, 2014. Vice Minister Niu Dun attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Agricultural Councilors from the EU Delegation and Embassies of France, Germany, Republic of Korea and South Africa presented MOA a number of books on agricultural development and cultural traditions of their respective countries. In return, MOA offered gift books of China's well-known masterpieces like Three Ancient Works on China's Agriculture, A Dream of the Red Mansions, and so on.
On the same day, MOA and National Library of China (NLC) signed a cooperation agreement and established the MOA Branch of NLC accordingly.
